Just a reminder... if you're ordering Sam and Fuzzy swag and need it in time for the holidays, make sure to place your order before this Friday at Noon EST if you want to use USPS Domestic First Class or USPS Global Priority. (After the 2nd, you can still use other shipping methods to get you your stuff in time, but they're more expensive.) Act fast to avoid crushing disappointment.

In other news, I've just mailed off the last of your many, many holiday commission requests. Not sure why, but there were more than ever this year. (Thank you for that!) And man, there were some pretty fun ones this time around. I wish I could show you them! But they're all presents for people, and I've sworn not to spoil anyone's surprise. So, uh... look forward to seeing them in January? Yes!

I actually managed to wrap work on these a little earlier than I was expecting. So if there's anyone out there still looking to get something drawn up in time to give as a present this year, good news... I should be able to squeeze in one or two more commissions in them for Christmas after all. Just drop me an email and let me know what you're after!

Next Book Club Bonus Pack mails out December 22st!

Sorry today's comic comes a couple of hours late, team! I was just busy putting the finishing touches on some preview images of... our next Book Club bonus pack!

For those who don't know... everyone who picks up a copy of our new book, Sam and Fuzzy Are Very Famous, gets to be in the aforementioned club, and gets free digital bonus goodies sent to them throughout the year. (Think of it as my way of saying "Thanks, champ!") Well, I'm busy putting the finishing touches on our December bundle, and it's a doozy!

First off, we've got two new desktops... a Clockwork Orange parody based on a great commission idea from reader John Lancaster, as well as a Firefly parody I'm just putting the finishing touches on! We've also got a bundle of never-before-seen early Sam and Fuzzy gag strips which predate the webcomic. (And even feature strange earlier alternate versions of some of the same jokes.)

And as a special Christmas bonus... uh, bonus for our newer readers, I'm also tossing in two of our most popular previous desktops... MegaFuzzy and Evil Diva!

If you want all this crap... and who wouldn't... all you have to do is pick up a copy of our book on or by December 20th. Everyone who does, or who already has, will automatically receive it in their inbox on the 21st, just in time for the holidays. You can check out some slightly larger previews of the art by clicking the image above. Woo!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Fishy Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"What do Nicole, Fuzzy, Alexa, Sin and everyone else doing for Thanksgiving? Does Sam even like Thanksgiving?"-Tom

I've never really thought about it! Sam and Fuzzy takes place in the USA... but of course, I'm from Canada myself, and up here Thanksgiving is in mid-October. So I have a tendency to forget the American version right up until it's actually happening. Maybe that's the reason I've never done a Thanksgiving-themed strip!

I'm sure Sam does his best to throw as traditional a Thanksgiving feast as possible. He seems kind of square that way. I can't imagine it turns out very well if he's the one cooking it, though.

As for Sin, I don't think he has time to celebrate earth holidays. His life is already a non-stop string of self-celebration... there's not much room in there for anything else!

"In strip 1416, it is alluded in Sam's dialogue that he's not alone in the dealing with whatever he deals with business. I guess the question is, are there lots of others whose main source of income is similar to NMS's and are we ever going to see any of these other people?"-Zachary

I think Sam was speaking more generally of anyone whose business or life is firmly entrenched in the so-called "second world". There are certainly plenty of other folks who are aware of the Underground and the various secret creatures, organizations, and species that exist below the physical or metaphorical "surface" of the Sam and Fuzzy-verse. But I don't think any of those people are running an operation that follows the same... uh... "business model" as NMS. (Possibly because it's not a terribly good one!)

"I've a question about Sam's cat: we know it thinks of spatulas, dreams of being catzilla, plays poker, eats people, and so on. We've seen it give birth to a dinosaur, and even move!

Yet, none of this compares with what we've seen on Monday's strip. Aren't cats supposed to always fall on their feet? Given it fell flat on it's face, only one question remains: what the hell is wrong with Butcher"-Bernardo

Well, to be fair, she did land on her front two feet! (Sort of.) They're just a little... stubby, is all.

So... false alarm! Nothing is wrong with Butcher. It turns out she's just an ordinary poker-playing, hand-eating, dinosaur-birthing cat after all.

That's a wrap for this week! See you on Monday, team.
