I'm almost loathe to mention it when it's still only mid-November, but Sam and Fuzzy Christmas cards are now available! It's important to mention these early, since some of you might be mailing them yourselves to their eventual recipients. There are three designs to choose from, and they come in boxes of twelve. (With envelopes, of course!)

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Robot Clone Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"Speaking of Sin not being able to control Sam, [why not] kidnap Sam and send in a Sam robot? Sin does have Fuzzy robots so I guess he could send a Fuzzy robot in if Fuzzy becomes inconvenient. Right?" -Tom

Sin has definitely built some fairly convincing-looking "robot clones" in the past! (Although judging by his own appearance, I think he's better at bears than people.) But convincing AI seems to be a bit beyond his grasp. That's why all of Fuzzy's robot doubles, like Bonus, are more than a little bit confused and easily recognized as copies. (By people who know Fuzzy personally, anyway.)

Non of this precludes Sin from buildilng a robot Sam suit, though, provided he could find someone to pilot it! I'm just not sure how convincing the end result would be. Maybe we'll find out!

"Furff? " -Raj

This is the shortest question I have ever recieved! Is it a sound effect I used somewhere? If so, yes, that is absolutely the real sound effect that whatever-that-was would make. Trust me... I'm a professional!

"We know how Conscience Cat feels about using murder for career advancement, but how about other purposes? Like business negotiations? " -Stephanie

I imagine Conscience Cat would frown upon that as well. I'm not sure if he has a sign ready for it, though, so maybe if you do it quickly he won't have time to nag you about it!

That's a wrap for this week, team. See you on Monday!

Wasted Talent

Did you know: I did a guest strip for my pal Angela's autobio comic, Wasted Talent! How do you a guest strip for an autobio comic? By drawing from real life experiences. (Also by swiping a bunch of art our mutual friend JJ drew last year during said real life experience.) You can check out the whole strip by clicking the image below!

Thanks to everyone helping to find homes for my goofy Jokemon print collection! A few of you opted for the version that comes with an equally goofy original sketch of the critter of your choosing, and I've been having a lot of fun with them. Here are my two favourites so far!

Art for Sale

Since I was exhibiting at last weekend's Vancouver Gaming Expo, I decided I wanted to make some thematically appropriate prints to bring along. The end result was the following collection of six dumb Poké jokes. (Henceforth referred to as "Jokemon"... *rimshot*.)

For those of you who couldn't make it to the show (ie: the vast, vast majority of you), I've made a little page where you can order them online! If it is your wish, you can nab all six is $25. Woo!

I know some of you will be bummed that I'm not selling them individually, but sadly, there isn't really a good way to sell such small-ticket items by mail order that isn't impractically labour intensive and goofy to ship. Besides, they make a cute set, and the ones you don't like can make excellent gifts, table-levels or kindling. (I suppose if you really, REALLY only like one, you can email me and we'll see if I can make you a larger-sized $12 version, like my Ninja Turtleducks print.)

In other art news, there are still a handful of Halloween sketches left! Here's one last preview pic of the last sketches standing.

Whew! Art. Sorry to prattle on about it for a whole newspost. Maybe I draw... too much.
