WOOSH

Speed lines! They are like tunnel lines, only straighter.

We return on Friday with our next comic and our latest round of Q and A. If you've got a burning question you want answered, just launch it my way in an email with "Q and A" in the subject line!

Sketched Off

Thanks to everyone who tuned into the Commission of Fate sketch-off on Friday! I had a lot of fun chatting with you all while I drew stuff. Let's do it again sometime!

Most of the drawings I drew were for kickstarter backers, but I did manage to do a few smaller pieces as well! As usual, I'll be selling the originals for $25, or $50 if you'd like me to marker-colour it. (Or if it is coloured already!) You can see all the pieces I did by clicking the gallery link below:

If you'd like to nab one, just drop me a line!

Livestream Sketch-Off today at 11AM pacific

Just a reminder, team... I am doing a Livestream commission sketch-off today, starting at 11 AM pacific time! (That's equivalent 2pm eastern time, east-coasters.)

I'm going to be drawing a bunch of "Commissions of Fate"... where the characters and subject matter for each drawing are chosen randomly (or semi-randomly) using a 20-sided die and this chart! Here are a couple of examples of pieces I've already done, for some of our kickstarter backers. (If you are a backer who requested a random Commission of Fate, one of these may be yours!):

Today, I'll be drawing some more of the pieces I need to make for our backers. But like my usual Sketch-Offs, I'll also be drawing a few that will be available generally for anyone watching to buy. I'll also be chatting with folks on livestream while I draw, and will probably turn to the chat for some guidance or suggestion as I go. And for those who can't watch the stream, I'll be posting the finished drawings on twitter as well.

I think this one is going to be a lot of fun! Some of the conceptual combinations that come up when using this method are... challenging, to say the least... but I'm up for it if you are!
