Art art art

The great mailer-utilizing miny commission and bookplate extravaganza continues! Here's a bunch of the ones I've done over the last few days:

I've been having a lot of fun with these, so I'm going to do a second batch this week. If you'd like to get a custom piece of your own, you can ! A single character is $25 for black and white, $35 for spot-colour or $50 for full colour. (Two-character pieces cost a bit extra.)

To get it as an art commission, just email me!

To get a bookplate, head over here!

Meanwhile, a new page of Tower of Babel went up on Sunday! Check it out by clicking the image below. Simple as it is, I'm particularly pleased with how the first panel turned out in this one. I'm having fun experimenting with these geometric-y line-art-free backgrounds.

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Cooper Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"Monday's comic reminded me of a question that I forgot to ask the last time Cooper re-appeared. Why does detective Morris refer to Cooper as Erin this comic when she told her sister about death threats to her partner Sarah in this one? Is one of these a middle name and the change is Cooper distinguishing her current life from previous? Or am I just giving you too much credit?" -Mark

You are giving me too much credit! When Cooper first reappeared, I thought I checked the old comics thoroughly and determined her first name had never been mentioned. Wrong! Whoopsie.

Fans pointed this out to me eventually, but not until after the erroneous "Erin" name had already been printed in book form. So the contradiction is set in stone, and as you can see in today's comic, I eventually opted for the middle name solution.

"Aaaaaah! I love Morris/Cooper date night! Is their official romance a newfound thing, or were Morris and Cooper actually together before Cooper's memory loss?" -Rory

After today's comic, you'll know the answer to this question to! I should have called this Q and A the "now you know edition".

"Have you used up all your mailers yet?" -Jake

NOW YOU KNOW!

Wait, no you don't. Sorry. No, I still have plenty of mailers! So if you'd like to nab one of my fabulous $25 ($50 for colour) character commissions, just email me!

Alternately, if you're an Omnibus kickstarter backer, you can help me burn through the mailers by purchasing a custom bookplate! You can do so by clicking the image below:
