Book Sale Encore and Emerald City Comic-Con!

OK, OK. Because a bunch of you asked, we've decided to extend the Sam and Fuzzy book sale for one last day. That day is today! If you'd like to nab a prequel Omnibus for 30% off, or any of the sequel books for 10-20% off, you've got one last day to do so. Get 'em while the getting's good.

Meanwhile, I'm busy packing for my trip to this weekend's Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle! If you're going to be at the show, be sure to swing by Booth 1102 right smack dab right in the middle of the skybridge, where Topatoco will be selling a broad array of Sam and Fuzzy paraphernalia. (And where I will be hanging out, signing and doing sketches.)

Book Sale Ends Tuesday!

The heist to which Sam refers in today's strip is, of course, the one pulled in Sam and Fuzzy Ruined Everything's climactic chapter, Four-Finger Discount.

Speaking of Ruined Everything... it, like all my books, is on sale for the next 48 hours! There are deals to be had on all our "sequel series" books and bundles, and some particularly killer steals on the giant "prequel" Sam and Fuzzy Omnibus that collects the comic's first seven years (alongside copious print-exclusive bonuses)!

All our books are also available in signed/draw-in Artist Editions. So if you need that personal touch, we've got you covered. (The sequel Artist Editions come with pre-drawn sketches, while the Omnibuses include custom art of the character of your choice!)

If you were looking for an excuse start (or complete) your Sam and Fuzzy print library, consider this your invitation. Happy bookery!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A:  Subliminal Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"So in this strip we see a Saucy Boutique ad. Did Gertrude expand the Saucy Hippo into other Saucy ventures?" -Tom

She did indeed. By this point, I think Gert has a pretty healthy little empire.

"Now that I know you're a Gravity Falls fan I have to ask- who is your favorite character?" -Gwen

I love the whole cast, but Grunkle Stan is my favourite. I feel like that character is able to walk a lot of lines -- between crochety and endearing, lazy and driven, ridiculous and serious, lame and badass -- in a way that is really interesting and entertaining to watch. (Plus, I am 100% into his mysterious backstory.)

"Is there any overlap between the Omnibus and the "regular" books?" -Chris

No! I know a lot of Omnibuses out there are just re-collections of previous smaller books, but not ours! The Omnibus contains every Sam and Fuzzy strip up to #1045, and the regular books pick up immediately afterwards with strip #1046 onward.

That's a wrap for this week. See you on Monday, team!
