It's a big week, friends! To start, this is the week that the Sam and Fuzzy RPG ships out to all our kickstarter backers. But it's also the week where I put the finishing touches on a pair of new shirt designs, and a couple other fun new ventures for the near future. Hooray!

And of course, it's also a week that brings three brand new Sam and Fuzzy comics! The next one arrives on Wednesday. See you then!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A:  e3 Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"Wait, how did fuzzy recognize X and Y without their masks?  I thought he hadn't seen their faces before.  Or was he just tipped off by the codenames and the missing arm?" -Graham

He didn't recognize them, actually! (And they didn't recognize him, either.) He was just worried about having anyone search his truck, since Hazel and Brain were hiding in there.

You'd think the missing arm and choice of wardrobe might have been a tip-off for Fuzzy, but I don't think he noticed. We'll chalk it up to him being very nervous.

"Will we ever fully explore Fuzzy's history, before the mind wipe, or is that something you are planning as an independent story (when this story arc is complete), or something that will just be left up to our imaginations? Does Brain have all of Fuzzy's memories?" -Alan

That would be telling! How about I just say this: at any given moment, the reader will know as much about Eric as Fuzzy currently does. If and when we learn more about his past life, it'll be because he is learning about it himself.

"You seemed pretty excited about e3 this year! What games from this year are you most interested in?" -Amy

Well, as you may have gathered, I was pleased to see Shenmue III and The Last Guardian ressurected from oblivion. I'm also (still) pretty pumped about No Man's Sky, which I feel like is either going to be spectacularly fun or a really interesting failure. I love the setting and visual design of Horizon: Zero Dawn and it's robot-dinosaur-filled wilderness.

As a big Skylanders nut, I'm really pleased about Skylanders Superchargers -- the vehicle stuff looks awesome, and the implementation of Donkey Kong and Bowser is really slick and well done. (I suspect their presense will draw a lot of new folks into the series, which is great, because I think a lot of people don't realize how good these games are!) It also seems like they're toning down the locked-areas-that-require-additional-toy-purchases considerably, which is nice to hear. (That stuff got kinda out of hand with the last one.)

Last but not least, I love Uncharted, and the new Uncharted 4: A Thief's End demo looked great. I can't wait!

Oh.

On Monday, I joked that this would be the e3 that we finally saw the return of longtime gaming white whales Shenmue III, The Last Guardian, and Beyond Good and Evil 2. But, uh... then the first two of those actually happened. And now there are Nintendo characters in Skylanders! The world has gone mad. Sweet deal!

Come back on Friday for our next comic, and a new round of Q and A! (If you've got a question you'd like answered, just pop it in an email with "Q and A" in the subject line!)
