Halloween Sketch-Off Today!

Friends! Starting at noon Pacific time today, I will be spending my day live-drawing Sam and Fuzzy characters in different Halloween costumes, based on your suggestions!

Fuzzy in a Batman costume? Dev in a Fuzzy costume? Mr. Sin in a 17th century chemist Robert Boyle costume? You decide! Just tweet (or email, if you don't twitter) me your idea, and I will try to draw as many of my favs as I can! You can watch me drawn 'em live on Twitch, (Sorry, livestream stopped working) or just see photos of the individual pieces as they are finished on my twitter page.

As is tradition, I'll be selling the originals for the special event prices o' $25 for black-and-white or $50 for a marker-coloured version. As is also tradition, it'll be first come first serve, so if you see a drawing you like, tweet or email me to let me know, and I'll get back in touch with you when the event is over!

Sketch ahoy!

Hello friends! I'm running a little behind today, so if no one minds too much, I'm going to skip this week's Q and A. BUT! Here's your regularly scheduled comic! Come back on Monday for the next one.

And also come back on Monday for the all-day Halloween Sketch Off, where I'll be drawing pictures of Sam and Fuzzy characters in halloween costumes, based on your suggestions! See the previous newspost for more info.

Woo!

Incoming Sketch Off

It has been a while since I've thrown one of my (in?)famous Sketch Offs! But it's almost Halloween, and Halloween is always my favourite Sketch-Off theme. SO: Sketch Off ahoy!

For those who don't know, Sketch Offs are when I pitch a theme to readers -- for example, Sam and Fuzzy characters dressed in Halloween costumes -- and then spend a day drawing all my favourite reader suggestions. I'll be throwing this year's on Monday (the 26th), in the afternoon and evening. So start brainstorming your ideas! (But please don't send them to me until the actual day of the event, or I'll lose track of 'em all.)

Here's a sample of some of the pieces I drew last year. Woo!
