THREE DAYS TO GO

The Sam and Fuzzy kickstarter ends in 3 days, my friends. And I have some exciting news to kick off the last three days! Thanks to all the extra support the project has gotten... we've been able to go back and make a slipcase for Hardcover books 3-5! And now, we're looking to tackle even more cool stretch goal additions, including some that I'll be revealing later today. (So if you haven't already, please, check the project out!)

But yes! Thanks to this latest goal... all seven books in the complete series hardcover collection now have slipcases. If you're grabbing the two newest books (Book 6 and 7), they come in a fancy Brain-themed case. And if you're backing a tier that includes the older books, they'll come with their respective cases, too!

And if you already own hardcover's 3-5 and just want the new case, don't worry... you can just grab the case by itself as an add-on item.  These cases are, uh, really large and kinda pricey to both manufacture and ship, but I'm using our stretch goal funds to subsidize the cost and get 'em down to $12 including shipping (or $18 for international buyers). I know a lot of you have wanted these cases for quite some time, so I'm hoping this helps to make them accessible to as many of you as possible.

Thanks again, everyone, for all your support of this project. I'm so thankful that so many of you are this eager to give the series this kind of send-off. I can't wait to see what else we can do, and I can't wait to get these books in your hands!

Ok, that's all for now. But come back on Wednesday for our next comic. Cheers!

Spin spin spin

Whew! I am spinning a lot of plates at the moment, friends, So I decided to give myself a little break and take the week off from our usual Q and A features. (It will return next week!) But I do have this comic for you! Did you know that I am having a lot of fun with this story? Because I am having a lot of fun with this story.

Meanwhile, the Sam and Fuzzy kickstarter has a mere six days to go, and counting! We are so close to unlocking those final slipcases. (So close!)

And I should probably also mention, a whole full new month of backer rewards are up now on my Patreon! I haven't been plugging old Patreon much lately because of the Kickstarter, but rest assured, I've still been diligently making the rewards. This month, there's a bunch of fun Trevor-themed bonuses! (And of course, there's also a ton of new sexy stuff for folks on the 18+ Saucy Hippo tier.)

That's all for today, friends. But come back on Monday for our next comic!

Trevor is helping

Ok! Here's the part of the story where it starts to get a little weird.

MEANWHILE: The Sam and Fuzzy Kickstarter has entered it's final week. And I'm happy to report that we crossed a new stretch goal yesterday! That means that a special Sam and Fuzzy timeline feature will now be added to all editions of the final book.

I'm super excited about this one! As you all know, after 17 years of story and world-building, Sam and Fuzzy built up a pretty elaborate continuity. I think it's going to be really satisfying to see it all plotted out in timeline form! In particular, I think it's going to be really interesting to see the important personal milestones of various characters (ie: the year Sam was born, the year Dev started college, the year Hazel met Brain) charted alongside the major events of the S&F universe and the Underground.

Sam and Fuzzy has always avoided specifying what actual year the "present" is, so to preserve this, I'll mostly be identifying the years with an internal numbering system, like you've occassionally seen me use for Q and A answers here. Sam and Fuzzy met for the first time at Christmas in "Year 0", and had the first year of their adventures together in "Year One". But the timeline will span hundreds of years, from the creation of the Committee all the way to the series finale. (And of course, most importantly: it will include the life of famed 17th century chemist Robert Boyle.)

Thanks for all your support, everyone! It's super exciting to unlock this addition... and of course, it's also pretty exciting to see us push ever closer to our Hardcover 3-5 Slipcases and Art Gallery goals. 7 (and a bit) days to go!

That's all for today. But come back on Friday for our next comic!
