Here come the bombs

Yes, paycheque, not paycheck. It's the wacky Canadian (and British) way. This might make you wonder why then the name Jack is only Jacques in French, but hopefully it doesn't.

I'm honestly not sure which of the two Ninja Mafia shirt designs is in the lead right now. It's been awhile since I last went through all the orders and counted the numbers for each. But last time I checked, the two designs were pretty close -- Three Ninjas was in the lead by only three or four shirts. If I had to bet money, I'd guess that the quirky Ninja Van shirt will be the one coming in second, but you never know!

Welcome to the man who wanted everything but couldn't have it

Well, here we are at the first update of Sam and Fuzzy's third year. It's been an absolute joy for me to watch my little black and white baby grow from a sketchy mess with four regular readers into the MIGHTY WEBCOMIC BEHEMOTH that it is today.

OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration. But I swear, sometimes that's what this site feels like to me and you guys are the reason why. I couldn't have done it without the fans who emailed and encouraged me to keep it up, the webcartoonists who befriended me and helped me get this thing off the ground, the folks whose dual penchants for t-shirts and original art have transformed the site from an income drain to an income supplement, and of course, the Ashton, my insane code-monkey buddy who has kept this site running smooth and minty fresh. This is as good a time as any to say, "Thanks guys! You're awesome."

And with that out of the way, it's time to go back to taking you all for granted. BA-DUMP TSH!

The fanart gallery has been updated with a whack of new items -- one of which is in fact related to the two-year anniversary. If you too feel the urge to create some commemerative fan art for the occassion, it's not too late yet. But it will be soon. No pressure.

Bauer Power Hour

24's season finale was brilliant -- definitely an ending worthy of the show's best season. Expect me to plug this show repeatedly when the third season is released on DVD in September. If you missed it on TV you have to see it on DVD. The next season doesn't begin until January of 2005, so you'll have four months to get caught up. And once you are caught up, you'll definitely be thankful that you only had to wait four months for season four, instead of eight like moi.

Ninja Mafia shirt sales are pretty close. The "3 Ninja" shirt is in the lead by a few shirts, but surprisingly, most people have been buying the two pack. Apparently you people like your ninjas as much as you like your communism. I'm cool with that.
