Won't you let me walk away sometimes

Did I mention how much fun I had drawing this current storyline?

Brain Carroll is updating Instant Classic again, but with something different this time... Genrezvous Point. It's a gag comic with a pretty interesting premise: a cast made up entirely of personified movie genres. And it's updating every single day! Between this and Questionable Content, I'm feeling pretty spoiled these days!

Is anyone else as excited about Alien Hominid as I am? I mean, seriously! Sure, it started as a fun-but-somewhat-shallow flash game. But watch the video preview of the massively expanded and upgraded console version. I want this game. I don't know if Hominid will approach the greatness of games like Gunstar Heroes or Metal Slug, but it looks like it has serious potential. Plus, I am really digging the art style and lush animation. I miss you, 2D games.

Ooples and banoonoos

All of you Skull Panda nuts are going to love the birthday present my girlfriend Claire made for me:

Claire is awesome

Yes, it's a 3-foot tall Skull Panda plush toy, and she made the entire thing from scratch, by hand. Click that image and be amazed! I think this one even tops the Sonic statue that she made earlier this year.

Now, I'm sure at least one of you is thinking that they would like a Skull Panda plush of their very own. But as you can imagine, it took a very, very long time for Claire to make, and she's not keen on repeating the experience. Earlier, I asked her how much someone would have to pay her to make another one, and I believe she said five billion dollars. Any takers?

Someday, when this comic is totally huge and I am the king of the world, we will have mass-produced Sam and Fuzzy plush toys for you all to consume. But until then, we're stuck with comics. And t-shirts. And a horse. A horse named... Hidalgo.

Stupid hats and plastic plates

Today is my birthday, but curiously, it is I who have made a present for you. Perhaps I suffer from celebratory conceptual dislexia. Skull Panda wallpaper, in a variety of assorments! (Or an assortment of varieties!) Don't believe the thumbnail's lies... the actual wallpaper has a bit of a redish tinge to it.

"Ludicrous" (1600 x 1200)

"Oddball Widescreen" (1280 x 1024)

"Everyone Else is Doing It" (1152 x 864)

"Respectable" (1024 x 768)

"It's How You Use It" (800 x 600)

Enjoy, but remember... if you enjoy the Skull Panda antics, today is the last day to order many of his fine clothing items.

See you all next week!
