Woo

Dayfree Press will be announcing a new member on Monday! But until then, there is an arbitrary veil of secrecy surrounding this member's identity. Here's a clue though... this person has a comic.

On the internet.

In other news, I got all my free Psychonauts refer-a-friend gear in the mail yesterday, and it is swanky! It is very nice of Majesco to be giving this stuff away. Have I mentioned how much I love this game? And I'm not the only one! Do give it a shot, if it is within your means to do so.

Don't wanna owe you another 20 cent goodbye

More than a few readers were confused about Rikk's "burnt toast" observation in Monday's comic. Have you never heard that you can make someone smell burnt toast by poking them in the brain? Apparently the claim has some actual factual basis, but I'm not the one to ask about that. I'm really only familiar with the humourous cultural meme that extended from the actual research. So, there you go! One whole paragraph of reading and you've still barely learned anything from me.

Apparently I am not the only person who loved the Wallace and Gromit movie. Corpse Bride may have the upperhand in art direction and technical execution, but there is no doubt in my mind that Wallace and Gromit was the better film. There is something so darn charming about the original animated shorts, and all that charm translated perfectly to the feature-length format. We definitely lost something very special in the Aardman warehouse fire.

When Snake Anthony was on the road with us

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! And extra special good wishes to those of you who, like myself, have to work today instead of taking the holiday off. We don't need some sissy long weekend, guys; we are too tough for that.

PS: I finally found my Spoon CD! It was missing for months, but it turned out that it was in my briefcase all along. I guess that goes to show you how often I use a briefcase.
