Man, I had high hopes after seeing Boseman's T'Challa in Civil War, but even in the face of 'em, I am stunned and delighted we actually got a Black Panther movie this good. It's so easy, particularly if you grew up on 90s superhero movies, to picture a darker timeline where a "minor" Marvel character like BP would have wound up with cinematic treatment on par with, say, poor Ghost Rider. Or one where we see as little of Wakanda as we saw of Asgard in the first Thor! Massive congrats and thanks to Ryan Coogler, the cast, and everyone else responsible are definitely in order.
We return on Friday with our next comic, and a new round of reader Q and A! (As always, if you've got a question you'd like me to answer, just pop it in an email with "Q and A" in the subject line.)
