If you were really keen on me being there, you could start a fundraiser to buy me a plane ticket. You could call it the "Sam's Baby-sitter Fund".

Anyone from St. Louis making the trip? I'm booking my flights now but I can't rent a car. Looking for someone to share transportation and/or lodging once I get there. Also I hear there is a bus from the airport? Anyone know about that?

OK, so a LOT more people were interested in coming to this thing than we anticipated. Registration opened and closed less than 48 hours... we reached the maximum capacity for the building and can't take anyone else unless we can find more space!

I got in! Woohoo! Neuv, Stock, I hope you guys registered, otherwise it's going to be super awkward when I abandon you in my apartment to go party with famous webcomic people.

We've...actually dropped out. Cal couldn't make it and I'm not so keen on driving up alone.

You know, I say that all the time; but I when I say it, I mean it ironically.

Guys, guys. Sam Logan is my boyfriend. And he totally used these forums to pick me up. I'm just like you!

How did you think I was saying it?

He used the forums to pick us up too?

Actually, apparently having a webcomic is a good way to get chicks. David Willis met his girlfriend through his comic's forum too.

Well, I didn't meet Toby on the forum. I met her at a convention! But close enough. :)

I've met a lot of my current friends as a result of doing this comic, too. And it also helped me get my job at YES Mag! Sam and Fuzzy has been very good to me.

Sam, do you know what the setup at WW is going to be like? Are you going to have like a booth or something? How will I know who to party with if not? Is there going to be stuff on sale? Should I bring cash money? It seemed like the original intention was "webcomic creators hang out and party with their fans" but I'm not sure if it's transitioned more to "webcomic creators sell stuff to their fans" like a traditional con. There's not a lot of stuff up on the site right now.

It's much more casual than a usual con, but I am going to have a table and I will definitely have things to sell. Bring cash! :D
