So uh, I just saw Ghost Rider 2, and it was awesome! Well it was awesome if you like terrible Nic Cage movies. It apparently wasn't awesome if you were expecting a real movie, like I guess all my friends were for some reason. But if you like movies where Nic Cage yells and acts crazy while random things get set on fire and/or explode and/or are possessed by demons, then you will love this movie.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear, thank you.

I will say that I missed about 20 minutes in the middle of the film. So maybe I missed a super boring part that made it bad for everyone else? But I think they just don't understand Nicolas Cage like I do.

Watched Tucker & Dale vs Evil today.. It was pretty entertaining. A great twist on the clichéd cabin in the woods scenario. 3/5

HAWT.

So I saw American Psycho as it was played on the big screen at my university. Movie was pretty awesome if you're into dark comedy with a shit ton of violent murder. Plus you can see the scene where the 4chan Doubles Guy comes from.

For those who have seen it, I have a question:
Spoiler: show
So at the end of the movie, what is up with him getting away with everything? He admits to a lawyer that he killed over 30 something people, but the lawyer is all, "No, I just talked to that one guy. Shut up, weirdo." And then the one room with all the bodies is cleared out and nothing is said about it. I mean ... surely that would have been in the news or something.

Theory: He's hallucinating. He's so pint up by his job and quest for perfection that the only way he can feel anything is to envision horrible, violent murders of the people around him. So all the scenes in the movie where he is killing someone are actually just his fantasies. That's why at the end of the movie, his secretary finds his planner with all the violent doodles; those are physical manifestations of his imagination, but nothing more. Evidence to support that Bateman is capable of hallucinating is present when he sees the ATM flash the sign saying to feed it a stray cat. An ATM would not actually say that.
There comes a time, Time Lord, when every lonely boy must learn to dance.

Spoiler: show
Yeah, the ending is purposefully left vague for the viewer to draw their own conclusion. The two options are either that it's all in his head, or that every one of the characters really is so shallow and fake that no one notices or cares when they're killed. Note how the lawyer also didn't recognize Bateman, so it's plausible he mistook the dead guy for whoever was in Paris, too.

Fantastic, hilarious movie, though.

Gendy Tartavosky is directing a feature length animated movie based on the old universal monster movies.
My reaction:

It may be not working for you in this case because that's the short url. You gotta use the long url with the tag.

EDIT: Haha, and it's not available for viewing in the US.
