Then take my word for it.
Tell me a story baby.
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

Harry took a bath in book 4.

Also, I recently read the first two books of the Chronicles of Prydain, by Lloyd Alexander. Now I'm gonna have to go find some 35 year old kids books, preferably cheap. The Black Cauldron is probably easy to find. I've had it for years. But the Book of Three was just a lucky find at a used book sale.

Oh well, tonnes of stuff to read in the meantime. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, for instance.
Holy cow, it's Mix! I thought she was dead or something.

Ever.

The stories follow them from waking up to going on adventures to going to bed usually. They wake up, and head down to breakfast, there isn’t even a 10 minute gap or so that isn’t coverd in the books that could be shower time in the morning. They just don’t bath.

They're British, after all.

Yeah you can talk about pretty much any book you want! Although if you're new you might want to start off in the Introductions thread in the Me-ow! subforum.

Also: welcome!

Harry does become a bit toolish in the last few books, but it's not nearly as bad in the fifth. The fifth book is all about TEH ANGST.

Wow, now there's a trip down memory lane. I haven't read those in years. Great fantasy series, although the third one felt a little slow. I hope you can find the whole set.

Meh, I found a bit of angst in the fifth book but not nearly as much as everyone says. I think people are just anti-angst nowadays, so they see it everywhere.
