Ultimate Gaming Madness

Postby Ben » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:51 am

We have lots of threads for discussing online gaming but none for just general video game chit chat.

So here one is.

I got crackdown today.
It's kind of like Grand Theft Auto and Mario had a love that they dare not speak its name, the child was quickly whisked away at birth and hidden from the disaproving parents raised by Rush 2049 (An extremly underated 64 game BTW)

It's so fucking cool, I just did a barrel roll over a bunch of gangesters jumped out the car in mid air, locked onto a dude and shot his legs out from under himg while falling, landed and stomped his head in...

... IT RULED!
The racist one.

I really haven't played Metroid Prime: Corruption hardly at all since school started. I have much less free time, and video games aren't usually high enough on my list to warrant that little amount of time I have. Still, it's a pity. I really do like that game.

I rented Metroid Prime 3 recently. I was initially unimpressed, but then META-RIDLEY.

Yeah, I've fallen off the Metroid train, but I hope to remedy that this weekend. Instead I've been playing Blue Dragon a bit at a time. It's certainly not the greatest thing ever, and I sometimes wonder why some parts are polished so well, while other things are not (Such as long FMVs being broken into 20 seconds bits rather than one long succession, so there are half second freezes between them. Thing explodes, stop, someone jumps off, stop, people watching, stop). But over all it's nice old turn based rpging, which I really missed.

And I just got Metroid Prime 2, Phantom Dust, and Call of Duty 3, because apparently I like collecting used games that will just end up sitting on my shelf for a month before I get to them. :durr: It's like video game stock buying. Buy now, play later. Or something.

Lame ending is LAME

for a game that stresses "We leave the choice up to the player" there sure are almost no consequences for your actions.

I'm looking for a paying job so I can buy myself a Wii and get the upcoming Fire Emblem and Smash Bros. games.

Fact: I have never beaten a GTA game. I have owned III, VC, and SA. I think I almost got through VC, but I could never find my way back to the first island to beat the first mission on the second island in III, and never got past the first island in SA. :durr:
