OH GAWD SO MUCH CLICKING.

SO MUCH USELESS LOOT TOO.

I chose demon hunter as my class. I thought considering you spend most of your time retreating while attacking, I'd go for a ranged unit.

Internet dropped out once this arvo.. I had to redo a whole floor of a crypt.. I don't understand the need for it to be online.. is it a co-op thing?

It's a "We don't want people to pirate our game" thing.

The online thing is so people don't cheat, mostly because of the loot market thing Blizzard wants to do, since people can buy loot with real monies.

are... are you posting via magic?

I honestly have no interest in diablo 3, I might grab it oen day but mainly eh.

Been playing skullgirls lately, ran into some issues last night trying to create an online game though, whenever my opponent would get to the character select screen it would freeze him out of doing anything and we'd be stuck there watching theclock countdown till it got to 0 and then nothing happend. Pain in the arse.

I haven't played the previous Diablo's.. Them the days when I didn't have my own money..

..and now in the fays when I do have my own money, there's no way I'm spending more on the game just for shiny goods. I'll find/forge what I can within the game. So Blizzard can stick that idea up their butt.

My fathers computer.

I'm probably gonna get a macbook pro when the new line is announced. Probably the lowest tier. Hoping they give it the retina display and the SSD. That would be really tight.

I played Uncharted 3 last week. Kind of cool, but also kind of ho hum. I hated the shootey bits, the jumpy bits were okay. The filmy bits were great. I really liked the part where Drake was lost in the desert running in circles. I didn't really like it as a game, to be honest.

I played Infamous 2 this week and despite how I felt about Infamous 1 I really enjoyed this game. Moving about is awesome and exploring New Marais (New Orleans Facimile) is really charming compared to Empire City (New York City). Cole Really feels like a Red Neck Super Hero and Zeke fits in in the Bayou superbly well. His Survivalist attitude fits the new habitat. I didn't like the way they pulled the final choice. I liked how they reversed things, but I didn't like how they made it so if I wanted to swing the other way, I had to back out, reverse my Karma, and then go back in. That really pissed me off. Not gonna go into details because I really wasn't expecting God's gift to storytelling, but I really feel Sucker Punch missed an opportunity with that.

Festival of Blood, though... hoo boy is that a treat.

SO. Diablo 3 is good. However, just now I experienced what could make or break the rest of the game for me. The online thing. I had pings of 1900 something.. and was booted. For just playing as a single player this is pretty ridiculous. I'll persevere with it however, as I know these things take a few days to level out but if its constantly like this I won't be happy.

So Diablo 3, despite meeting system requirements, runs at about... let's say 5fps on my computer. No joke. It's so choppy it's basically unplayable.

So I buy a new graphics card, done deal, right? I've been needing to upgrade, anyway. BUT WAIT THERE'S A CATCH! My computer's power supply, as it turns out, is even shittier than the graphics card I shipped with, which means I'm probably going to need a new one of those, too!

In other words, Diablo is going to cost me in the ballpark of $300 to play. And I can't return the damn thing because I already used the registration key.

Talk about a racket.
