So the open beta for Phantasy Star Online 2 is out in Japan and it is region free. If anyone wants to play, I am on ship 9 beating up shit with a gunblade.

New Mass Effect ending is pretty satisfying, basically fixed all the problems I had with the original ending.

So i just beat spec ops: The line.

That game is kind of amazeballs. If you've seen the ads and think it's just a millitary shooter like cod, it's not, it's one of the most thought provoking dark games I've ever played. Get on that shit. It's like the full metal jacket of video games.

Heard it was a riff on Heart of Darkness? One of the characters is even named after Conrad.

Downloading the demo.. if I like it I'll add it to my wishlist and wait for a sale. It looks like a game that'll be cheap in a few months..

That was pretty great. And yeah source film maker looks amazing. Will probably have a tinkle with it. Can't wait to see what people do with it. Its out on beta I think:

Not sure how good the demo will be, the shooting is fine and all in it but it's one of those games that has a slow building story that really gets under your skin after a while.
