According to what I've heard, the next arc is a super long flashback telling the life story of Ichigo's dad.
I'm not really working on anything at the moment, but here's a link to my tumblr anyway.

You watched FLCL? The OST's for them are pretty good. It made source out more Pillows stuff.

Also I love Gurren Lagann. He's one of the cooler looking robots on my shelf.

Honestly I didn't really dig the FLCL soundtrack that much. I mean it fits in well with the show and everything but it wasn't the kind of stuff that made me want to go out and find the cd's.

That said it has been a long time since I've watched it. I mean shit I bought those dvd's back when I was in highschool.

Its poppy feel good rock. Like you said nothing spectacular, but still an enjoyable listen.
