Watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season 4 and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes season 2 at the same time is a kinda bizarre. A lot of parallels.

GAME OF THRONES - The National.

Oh man what an epic episode.
Spoiler: show
That wildfire stuff.. HOLY MOLEY. Reminds me of the Quegan Fire Oil from Raymond E Feists novels.. I hope the half man doesn't die. He's the only Lannister I like. Well apart from the father.. I think he's interesting. Like the scenes with Arya in past episodes.. I hope Sansa and the Hound get out too..

So I'm definitely addicted to Battlestar Galactica.
I just finished season 3, and I can't stop watching. IT'S SO EXCITING!
Spoiler: show
I didn't see the big Cylon reveal coming. I mean, I was pretty sure the last five were all on Galactica, but I never would have guessed Tyrol, Anders, and Tory. Tigh, maybe, but I figured that he was too old. The last ten minutes were unreal.

Overall, I thought season 3 was the worst one so far, but it's still great. I felt like there was maybe too much about Kara and Lee and not enough about other people like Sharon. Also, I was really liked seeing the Cylon side of things in the early part of the season, but that totally disappeared after a while.

I love that Portlandia skit! I had no idea how accurate it was until I started watching. If I had the option, I would sit around just like them to watch the whole series.

Finished Battlestar
Oh man... Ohhhh mannnn!!!

Spoiler: show
What the fuck, Starbuck? What are you?
That is the only thing I didn't like about the ending. Hell, the entire show. The only problem I had was the unexplained answers about Starbuck.
I'm pretty convinced that her father was actually the No 7 model Cylon they mentioned in one episode, Daniel. Ellen said that he was an artist, and we know that her father was a musician and he taught her the melody that ended up giving them the coordinates to our Earth. But that's still not a good enough explanation for me because A) SHE FUCKING DIED AND HER SHIP CRASHED BUT NO BIG DEAL, OKAY? and B) No one knew about our Earth. So as much as I'd like to believe she was Daniel's daughter, it's just more likely that she was actually an angel.
I'm pretty sure that the No. 6 that Gaius saw and the Gaius that Caprica 6 saw were also angels, especially because of the last scene.

I was honestly hoping for a more Serenity-esque ending where more people would be killed off. I knew Roslin wouldn't make it, but I kinda hoped some other main cast members died. I thought Helo was a goner for sure, especially after he got shot. Even someone as derpy and useless as Hotdog. I was really sure Hotdog wasn't going to survive the last battle.

I want to know what happened to Tyrol. Once they get to new Earth, you don't hear anything about him.

I don't know why, but I think I was most satisfied with Gaius and Caprica ending up happily ever after. I dunno, but something about them was more satisfying than watching everyone else's epilogue. I think they were two of the most interesting characters throughout the whole show.

I don't know what I'm going to do with my time from now on, though. I already watched Caprica. The only BSG related stuff that's left for me to watch is Razor (the story of the Pegasus) and the original series. Has anyone seen that? Thoughts?

Spoiler: show
Tyrol goes off on his own; it's implied he made his way to the UK or Scotland. There's a quote where he says he found some little island up north.

Hotdog was the fucking best. HOTDOG!

And yeah the general idea I think was that Gaius, Caprica and Starbuck were angels, or guiding spirits or something. The mythology of the show gets a little weird by the end. Honestly I wasn't sure how satisfied I was with the finale. It was interesting at least.

Another thing I realized about Battlestar's ending

Spoiler: show
In the last scene, the newspaper article says that they found the bones of what could be a missing link in human evolution, a young girl (Hera).
If they found her bones as a young girl, then that means she died young, certainly not more than ten, maybe twelve years after arriving on Earth. No way she had any children at that point, so there goes the first Cylon-Human child, dead before continuing the line. I'm sure Helo and Athena had more children, but still, it's sad to think about how they'd deal with losing her.
