Not sure if this actually is pro on con on Homestuck, but it's topical at least.

The rest of his 200+ videos are pretty much all Homestuck voice-readings. I'm sure he's a fan.
But I think it's a pretty good way to sum up a lot of my feelings about HS.

It's actually a ripoff of a copypasta written about an anime gay porno called Boku no Pico.

The original (and actually funny) version:

So, who's up for a Homestuck Adventure Game. Like a real one, although I sure enjoyed the little flash ones in the comic. I'm tempted to catch up on my reading just for those now that I remember them.

I am unsurprised. Hussie has a rabid fanbase like no other. I fully expect this to be one of the most funded Kickstarters ever when it ends. Not sure if it'll break Pebble's 10 million, but it'll be at least as high as Double Fine (about $3.5mil)

I was surprised when the Yogscast's game kickstarter finished at half a million. Homestuck is already there. I really don't think it'll be past 1 million, but what do I know.

Order of the Stick's Kickstarter ended at ~1.25 million. Do you really think that has a bigger or more fanatical following than Homestuck? It'll easily break a million.

It didn't get quite as high as I originally predicted. But yeah, two million: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/142 ... nture-game

121 people pledged over $1000. 2 pledged $10,000.

How the hell do people have that kind of money to spend on this?

So I haven't read Homestuck since the scratch (and actually wasn't really paying attention for a bit before that too). Can one of you give me the cliff's notes version of events since then? I've been inferring some things from context clues on tumblr but that only gets you so far.

What I really need is a helpful link to whenever the second set of kids showed up and it started repeating the first act. That's where I gave up and I'd like to catch up again, but the site map seems to have replaced the helpful text summaries with just thumbnail pictures, which doesn't help me remember what I did or didn't read a year (or two?) ago.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I guess I could just start reading it again from there but that seems like a lot of work.

If you go to the MSPA Wiki, you can look through summaries in the descriptions of each act, and there are links to specific pages from the story. I haven't read it in at least two years, and I'm kind of amazed it isn't over yet. Every couple of weeks I see people dressed as trolls on the weekends riding the T... It sorta weirds me out...

I only started reading Homestuck just over a month ago. It's odd, but funny.
