As long as they have the rest of us to look back on and either pity or laugh at, it will never be hollow or frivolous for them.

I'd actually be willing to help you guys out with 3 star gear if you see me online. I only need one more piece for myself and there probably isn't that much overlap between our sets. My only issue would be you have to take care of the energy req.

To heck with the gravity bomb, the Shivermist Buster is the best crowd control I've seen yet! It more or less locks the whole room down for long enough to set up the next bomb. That's the bomb line I'm going to focus on, although I'll never be able to afford it's 5 star form.

The other statuses are dumb in comparison, really!

Fire = Shock > Freeze > Stun > Poison = Curse

On enemies? Eh.

For players though, shock screws me (and everyone) up the most. Fire is annoying but generally survivable. Freeze just needs to be waited out with a block, mostly you can get through fine. Poison isn't hard to deal with but can put you in a rough spot when you're low on health and a big wolver comes dashing at you. Stun, whatever. Curse is killer! You can't do anything while it's on you!

Exactly this. I've been meaning to look into shock-resistant armor, in fact, purely because this is the one status effect that sends me into fits of uncontrollable rage. It's the ongoing damage of poison and the action interruption of stun combined and turned up a notch.

Poison doesn't cause ongoing damage to Knights, and only damages monsters if they try to be healed (like the Jelly King). Fire does ongoing damage though.

The wiki wrote:When a knight is poisoned, they cannot heal, either from hearts or capsules, and have reduced attack power.

Monsters afflicted with poison will be unable to heal themselves or regenerate health, and will take damage if a fellow enemy (e.g., Gremlin Menders or Wings) heals them. It will also weaken the monster's attack power and defense.

The only sword that causes Curse I know of is the Faust/Gran Faust, but you're gonna need 25 Jelly Gems to get a Sealed Sword.
