Internet Antiques Roadshow

Postby Kelso » Sun Jun 10, 2012 3:47 pm

Basically a trip down nostalgia lane. Post something positively ancient (in internet terms anyway) that you still go back to every now and then because it holds up well.

I open with the SamBakZa flashes.

I think I saw the first one (There She Is) sometime in 2004 shortly after it first came out, but it might have been a while later in early 2005. I'm pretty sure it was when I was still in University at least.
YouTube version, because we lack flash embedding.

OH MAN XIAO XIAO!

I used that as part of a study of 3D vector animation when I was studying animation.. Good times.

I can't really think of the oldest thing.. All that springs to mind is Netscape and geocities fan websites.... OH AND ICQ.. God I loved ICQ..

Oh good god, Weebl & Bob is still going? I don't know if I can survive catching up on about... 100 videos since I last saw them? Oh, Geez. Better block off a weekend. Next someone will tell me there's been new Dr. Tran or something.
