The Daily Events and Anecdotes Thread

Everyone likes to talk about themselves! Do it here so I don't have to read it. Ha ha! Just kidding. I'm actually illiterate.

I heard Muse today on the radio for the first time.

The instruments were good until the dude's voice kicked in...

That was my reaction the first time I heard the singer, but he's grown on me and now they're one of my favourite bands.

Muse's vocals are an acquired taste.

Now since my name color is different. I'm better than all of you. Is that a little racist? Maybe, yes.

I crave another Baconator from Wendy's, oh so very delicious.

I bought the 30 Rock Season 1 boxed set yesterday, and I'd finished watching them all before I went to work.

Hopefully i can get it all done tomorrow when i go in for the tutor chat. i swear half the letters I'm supposed to get haven't arrived, didn't get my new password and had to get it reset. :x

You know what sucks? Concussions.

Allow me to elaborate. I keep my bike lock on my handlebars when I ride about. I've been doing that for years and its never given me any trouble, though I certainly realized it could in theory. Anyway, on my way to class this morning I take a tight ninety degree turn accompanied by a heavy tiled shifting of mass and my lock slips over the middle the handlebars, jamming them in place. Not realizing this, I simply tried to turn away from the large, oncoming pillar instead of braking suddenly as I should have. My attempt at turning away from this stack of bricks was unsuccessful and as my bike rammed violently into it. I was thrown forward and my head was slammed into the pillar with a good bit more force than I appreciated. I stumbled off my bike, straightened up and went to class. I've got quite the headache now and am getting a bit of vertigo and stumble a bit here and there, but I'm okay.

I knew there was a reason my momma always told me to wear a helmet. This made me reconsider my decision not to wear one ... but I'm probably just going to continue living life on the edge ... to the max!

I think Neuvost secretly has a grudge against his brain and wants to how much damage he can inflict on it without it looking like that's his goal.

If it was caught on camera, it could become a video for the campaign to wear cycling helmets...or just silliest things caught on camera
