The weather is beautiful again! Campus is swarmed with people. I forgot that other people go to this school.

This has been a super-busy week, and I'm about halfway done with it. I'm playing an hour long set at a burrito store in a couple hours which I've been preparing for all week. And a couple days ago, they announced this thing called "Campus Movie Fest" where they give out cameras, mics, and laptops and challenge students to make a 5 minute short movie in a week. My friends and I signed up for it; I'm the producer, writer, composer, and co-director. Between all that and my regular school work I haven't gotten any significant amount of sleep all week.

But the movie has a lot of potential! I wrote a script about people with shitty super-powers coping with their self-esteem issues, despite living in the shadow of the only real super hero in the city, Captain Magnanimous. The script read-through went well, and we have all the props and sets we'll need. It's just a matter of getting everything done in time. When it's all finished, I'll post it here for you guys to see (as well as my gig from tonight: I'm using the camera the movie contest loaned us to film it)

I'm doing a 30 minute comedy set tonight. Started writing it yesterday, still writing it. Probably should have started earlier, OH WELL. I'm going to try and record it.
