Career Ambitions?

Everyone likes to talk about themselves! Do it here so I don't have to read it. Ha ha! Just kidding. I'm actually illiterate.

i have been dreaming of becoming a doctor ever since i was a kid, I always wanted to be able to help and cure people that is why i am leaning toward healthcare right now. I also believe that it is a very dignified and tough job that it challenges me to become the best person that i can be because i know life is at stake.

Being a doctor tkes in a lot of responsibility but i know now for sure that i am ready to take that on.

Update: I have completed my teaching licensure and Master's Degree programs. Currently waiting on the state government to process my license, and due to be granted my M.Ed next month. Now comes obtaining gainful employment.

Awesome! Good luck! I'm not sure what the teaching situation is like down there in the States, but it's apparently pretty slim here in Ontario for new teachers. Are you aiming for a regular teaching job or administrative?

Thanks.

As of now administration sounds awful. That means that classroom teaching is the focus for now - though after 3-5 years I will probably evaluate if I want to return to graduate school and pursue my doctorate (not to brag, but I have been told from some different directions that I have potential in that direction). Hard to say in advance, I will have to see if I feel the itch to move on, or just want to focus on being a teacher, full stop.

Teaching jobs (and specifically middle/high school English) are not falling off the vine in these parts, but they're not so scarce either. Fair enough that I'm not in despair.

Dr. Turkey has a nice ring to it.
I'm not really working on anything at the moment, but here's a link to my tumblr anyway.

Taking up my masters to be a professor. Hope I pass, otherwise, I'd love to be a business owner.
