Have you seen Superman Returns? It's a brilliant reenvissionment of Superman that makes Lex Luthor more awesome than any Magneeto or Doctor Doom could compete with. Kevin Spacey's Luthor even gave Darth Vader a run for his money [an easier feat to accomplish ever since the prequels, but I'm talking about Vader in A New Hope].
