So here's a thread to complain about towns, regions, cities, states, provinces, or nations that you hate. And by hate, I don't mean hate-hate, I mean "are annoyed by", or pretend to be. Keep it light.

Man. This thread is stupid.

I have quite a few, that's why I'm starting this thread.

• British Columbia: Vancouver Island used to be its own territory. Why did we join them?
• Alberta: Too flat. Too conservative. Not enough trees. Too cold.
• Ontario: They think they're representative of Canada. Also: it gets more than its fair share of senators and federal funding, it has Toronto in it, and it's touching Quebec. Too cold.
• Toronto: It smells, the people are rude, it's too cold.
• Quebec: Seriously, it's Quebec. Why the hell are we giving them transfer payments? Montreal is cool though. Too cold.
• The Atlantic: Too many senators. Too cold. Nobody lives on Prince Edward Island.
• Langford: *insert inbred hick joke here*.
• Oregon: Smells funny. Otherwise awesome.
• France: People are rude and can't drive. Otherwise awesome.

Regions I like:

• The Rockies: For protecting us from Alberta.
• Victoria, BC: It's warm. And awesome.

New Jersey: It's like they took the bad parts of New York and Pennsylvania and mixed them with rancid food. Every Newark joke you've heard is true.

Minnesota: Don't know how airports work.

Daytona: Smells like Delaware but costs 5 times as much.

Places that are awesome:
Sante Fe: Beautiful year round and 90% of the population is either squatters, gypsies, or a combination of the two.

Montreal:Both classy and clean! Even the bums are friendly.

I'd just like to say that Newark != New Jersey. Also Trenton != New Jersey and Jersey City != New Jersey. On the whole, Jersey pretty decent, and not that much different from any other area in the region (like Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York). We all agree that the cities in Jersey are garbage and should be avoided. Even us people FROM Jersey don't go there. However, they are in no way representative of the state as a whole. Don't listen to the business people who's only interaction with the state is flying into an airport which is in the middle of one of the previously mentioned cities. Obviously if the only time your outside your car is in the middle of Trenton it's gonna blow. That's like going only to Roxbury and then saying Massachusetts is a shithole.

For those of you who aren't programmers, != means "not equal to".

Its just a big fucking desert, why in gods name would you want to see that. THERES NOTHING THERE!

I've always thought of the Outback kinda as comparable to Canada's north. They take up the majorities of our countries, and nobody in their right mind would want to live there.

I thought the title said "Tornados suck" and I was going to make a post about how I think they blow away more things then they suck in but that I might be wrong as I never got to see that movie Twister but then again a twister and a tornado might be different as I never remember what all the various names that go with "dangerous spinning wind" have to do with one another but then I took a closer look.

Anyways, I do not like Georgia. It's far too hot and sticky down there. I also do not care much for New Jersey, they hired a merry band of ren faire actors and then only like six people showed up and we felt pretty silly. I also do not like most of Cape Cod because I never much cared for sea food and it's the only food you can find there.

West Virginia besides having absolutely nothing to do and I mean nothing (Going to Walmart was the highlight of my day the three time I went there). I missed the season finale of Will and Grace because "we don't support those television faggots".
Also, the teen pregnancy and high school dropout rates are through the roof.

Pittsburgh is pretty shitty too but I was only there for 3 days.

and of course Staten Island the land of guidos and whores, where your options for a night out are 1) go to the ice rink 2) movies 3) mall.
When you get bored of that you can just repeat those three things under the influence of different narcotics/booze. It's only saving factor is a 30 min boat ride from the real New York City.

Nelson is a fucking hole full of old people an retarded folk and I hate it so fucking much. It's a cultural wasteland, but they try and throw a blanket over it by opening all these pretentious-as-Andy-Warhol's-left-nipple art museums and erecting the most ridiculous fucking sculptures you ever will see. Seriously, there is one in the middle of town that looks like a giant twisted-up paperclip. There are never any good bands playing, and no good venue for them, anyway.

Eh, only lived in three different countries outside of Thailand but might as well,
Karachi, Pakistan
Crime and the general dirty look of the city is enough to dissuade anyone. Oh yeah, some of the roads are actually just really compacted sand. Saving grace is that you could probably find what you want at the black market.

Beijing, China
It is too hard to find a fricking gas station. Pollution sucks too. Almost everyday is cloudy in the city. In the suburbs, you occasionally get some sunshine. Saving grace are the good eateries and you can bike everywhere!

Paris, France
Public transportation is really good because the traffic sucks. There is never a place to park anyway. Heck, there isn't space to cram all your stuff. Everything is so expensive as well. Shops are closed on Sundays, so if I need to buy some medicine, I'd be hard pressed to find a pharmacy, or even a private clinic to get a check up. Saving grace is that Paris is actually quite beautiful, with the architecture and monuments, and public transportation rules (the metro is awesome).
