No you didn't, the Linux version of FF2 is just better at not using up all your memory. FF3 is way faster and has better memory management on all OS's.
Jack: What's EI? You mean IE? Safari got tabs before IE (they were in Safari 2, just disabled by default). The reason IE has natural integration into Windows Explorer is that they're actually the same app (the say way Konquerer on KDE is used for both file navigation and internet browsing). In my experience, it doesn't create any useful benefits having it set up this way, and exposes a lot more security risks.
