Lately I've been thinking about what Volume 5 could be. The biggest unsolved mystery we still have in the comic is the origins of Fuzzy. Since the alien being Mr. Sin recognized Fuzzy in this comic, it is strongly implied that Fuzzy is also of alien origin.

But is he the only classic Sam and Fuzzy character who might be from Space?

An old version of the Reader's Guide page claimed that Mr. Ackerman might be "an alien from Znorkon 6". Also of note, he has at least three hands. While we've seen Lance and Alexa recently, there's been no sign of Ackerman. It makes sense that Sam would want to see how he's doing.

Neither! We are taking a break for some holiday programming and other sort of intermissiony material. Volume 5 will start sometime in early January!

Oh wait, Ackerman's alien status was mentioned in the comic too. I had forgotten.

Why did he feel comfortable sharing this information with Fuzzy? Because he's familiar with Fuzzy's species, or course!

This would tie in with all the previous business ventures that Sin mentioned when he was fighting Nicole and Sid. You might be on to something here. ...

Am I the only one who just kind of stopped paying attention at some point for some reason and was associating Earl and Mr Ackerman as the same person? Seriously I have no idea why I was doing that but untill this thread I was.
