Awesome Graffiti in Toronto

Postby Ben » Wed Jan 21, 2009 9:58 pm

I just found Poster Child's Blade Diary, a blog of the graffiti he puts up throughout Toronto.

There is some awesome stuff there, including a sculpture of a weighted companion cube half way through a portal
with the other half of the weighted companion cube sticking out in another part of the city.

It's cool, but also like a year old. I haven't read his blog in awhile, I should go check it out again.

That must've taken a long time. How in the world did the police not stop him?

Wouldn't have taken that long, prepar it all at home, rock up with it in the back of your car and glue it to the wall.
Would have only taken like 10 minutes for each one.

If you wanna see something really impressive try and find the 4 story tall picture Banksy drew in front of Security Cammeras.

That guy is sneaky. One of his least impressive looking ones is amazing, since it's on the corner of Oxford street, supposedly the bussiest shopping street in the world, and Charing cross road, another major london road. There's no pavement there, and buses are alwasy going through. Of course, it's gone now.

My opinon is that it's okay to break the law as long as you're a complete fucking badass at doing it. Like if you're a cat burglar that leaves notes of where you're going to rob next and do it anyway, that's okay.
Tell me a story baby.
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

If he was badass enough I wouldn't care. And this is from someone who has actually been robbed before and is in an area where it could happen again at any second.

You can actually get permits to paint the sides of buildings if you show the city council (or whatever) a full layout of what you want to do.
