I felt that the fifth one had the most angst.

The seventh would be my favorite if it wasn't for the dry spell in the middle where everyone is just chilling out in the forest forever. Once they decide to

break into the bank
things picked up again. And blamo! What an ending!

I really need to re-read the last two books. The rest of them I've read like half a dozen times each, but I've only read 6 and 7 once.

Ok so somethings been bugging me, do the villains ever get fleshed out? So far they’re all horribly one dimensional. Malfroy is a jerk cause… well he’s a rich jerk? The Dusley I’ve already gone over, Snape is horrible because he got picked on by harry’s dad or something as a kid. Voldermort is evil because he likes power?

Do they ever get turned from cartoony 2D villain cut outs to you know, actual charecters.

Yeah, around books 6 and 7.
Tell me a story baby.
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

I really ought to get around to finishing the series, but I'm just not that motivated to pick up book seven.

I'll give you a hint. Dumbledore dies. Again.

I haven't bothered with the 7th yet either. Mostly because I haven't actually bought any of them. My sister owns a couple but I think that was from buying them as a birthday gift, only to have someone else get her friend those before she had a chance to give them. Or something more grammatical than that. Stupid pronouns.

At work a while ago there was a book swap type thing, and I found just about the best thing you could possibly find at one of those things. I was gonna say the holy grail, but given the book, that might be thought of as a pun when it wasn't intended as one. In any case it was The Curse of Horror Island
-Indiana Jones Adventure
-Find Your Fate (choose your own adventure clone)
-Volume #1
-by R.L. Stine

So geektacular. I also picked up Hey Diddle Diddle the Corpse and the Fiddle mostly for the name (and the fact that it only cost me a tiny paper rectangle that I got for donating stuff). And who doesn't love it when mortuary cosmetologists solve murders at a bluegrass festival?
Holy cow, it's Mix! I thought she was dead or something.

Mix, the only way that book could sound aevenmore entertaining was if his name was Diddle Diddle.

Fixed.

I've begun to read Twilight ... and it's not too unpleasant. I dislike the main character, Bella, because she is a boring twat that does nothing but obsess about Edward. Edward Cullen, on the other hand, is far more entertaining than he was in the movie. Robert Pattinson or whatever may have the look, but he makes Edward this whipped, awkward individual, whereas the initial chapters have him as a more snarky character. Granted I'm only on chapter six so things could change.

Pattinson has gone on record saying he HATES Twilight, and purposefully made Edward as pathetic and awkward as the director would allow him.
