So I read Twilight, and I liked it.

It has its few flaws, sure, but it isn't nearly as bad as people have panned it to be. Yes, it is written mainly for teenage girls, but there are parts of it that I find fascinating. For example, I'm intrigued by the concept of a vampire family trying to live a normal life in a quiet town. Plus, there is a hint of a werewolf vs. vampire plot that I believe appears in the sequels.

Needless to say, it is immensely more enjoyable than the movie, and I suggest giving it a read if you are bored and have nothing else to browse through.

Get out.

One of my coworkers, a forty year old man, talked for nine fucking hours about Twilight.

Okay, I thought it was decent, but not that decent.

It was also a hundred degrees out. I would've stopped him but I might've had minor heatstroke.

I couldn't bring myself to finish "The Book Theif." It was alright, but not good enough for its length. Zusak's writing style works better in the first person, rather than a narrator telling the story of someone else.
So I put that one down and started reading "Fragile Things," Neil Gaiman's collection of short stories. SO GOOD. Plus, I made a playlist of slow, eerie, haunting music to go along with it and its just wonderful. :D
