I'm 200 pages into DH, and I'm surprised. I thought everything had been spoiled for me, but I was wrong.
Spoiler: show
Poor Mad-Eye. I liked him.

EDIT: I'm now 477 pages into DH. Even though it was spoiled, the book is still exciting. There's a lot more action than I expected, and so far, I haven't minded the camping.
Spoiler: show
I just finished the chapter where they escape from Malfoy's, and Dobby dies. I figure the camping is minimal after this...

OMG! I totally forgot about him dieing! I was more upset about him then Dumbledore.

Also My mother went to see the new movie and she's convinced that dumbledore will make a grand return to life (I haven't told her yet because well I want to see her disappointment when the next 2 come out).

Deathly Hallows Part One won't be out til next November, and then Part Two comes out the following July.

I finished the book, like, five minutes ago. I liked it all except for the epilogue, which was pretty awful. And I know a lot of people have said "Oh, she totally set it up for the next generation of Harry Potter" but I don't agree. At all.
The more I think about it, the more I hate that epilogue.
I was pleasantly surprised by the intense action, though, of the last few chapters.

I am pretty sure the names were possible the stupidest thing in that entire series... It was like some fanfic got published by mistake instead of what should had been released.

The epilogue could have been good, but came off overly cheesy and stupid. Ah well, I still like the series and the book.

What I don't like about the epilouge is that she says that she's had it written for years, and you can tell. It's too much like book one for me. I think she should have kept it more in the style she was currently writting in, not the way she used to

She shouldn't have had the epilogue. The previous chapter would have been a great ending.

Yeah, the epilogue's tone didn't fit at all.
I would have liked an epilogue to be, maybe, a year or two later, but not nineteen. It was just way too corny.

Somehow, the charm of that name was lost on me...

No, but, see, it's Dumbledore's first name and Snape's last name! So he's paying homage to two people he really liked. See!?!

Damn, you know what I meant. YOU KNOW.

And he was all about the Snape-meister at the end there.

The thing that got to me most about the epilouge was both of Harrys kids are named after people important to him that got killed, cause you know, it's not like anyone close to Ginny got killed in it all that she might of wanted to name a son after...

... no one at all....
The racist one.
