The Tower

Postby Al-Bot » Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:04 pm

After 2 years of planning and procrastination, its actually happening:

The Tower is an electropunk graphic novel that will be updating Tuesdays and Thursdays online. Six pages of prologue are already up to get you appetized for the first update this Thursday. And then twice weekly on Tue/Thu from there on.

Expect fighting, drama, adventure, and lots of robots!

The navigation is a little spartan for now, but there will eventually be better controls and a system for posting comments - in the mean time, feel free to respond here or in the eximworks forum: http://www.exiwmorks.org/phpBB3

Original post content wrote:This topic formerly "Back after a long time with a burning question."

Hey guys, its been a long time since I last posted, and I've got a question addressed to the general userbase.

I have a brand spanking new comic that I'm itching to get out there, but there are rules explicitly stating that it is very bad form to promote your work if you're not a regular poster. Sam himself warned me that shamelessly plugging myself would just draw people's ire, so in the interest of not being a jerkface, I just want to ask...

I used to post here a lot back in the day, would anyone mind if I mark my triumphant return with a show and tell, or will that make me a self-important asshat?

If nobody has a problem I will rewrite this topic as my comic thread. Until then, I'll try to get back into the swing of things!

I would think it's just fine! You're long since past the safe point. Plus, I wanna see it. Those Leon's Grate Adventure videos are still some of my favorite things.

Wow, this is actually pretty well done. I'm liking the vivid colors and even the presentation of the comic is awesome. Looking forward to more issues.

Is there a comic frontpage or "most recent" address that I can bookmark to take me to the latest update, rather than the start?

Hi al-bot,
I have read your comic. I find that this comic has an interesting story. I found that the presentation of the comic is really very well.

If I wasn't so sure you were a spam bot, I would say thanks.
