Where I've Been.
To and fro, between the academic and the pseudo-professional, I've been behind the line and in the line, on display and behind the scenes, and I've been on the path; reclaiming my birthright as a creator.
I've departed, arrived and arrived again, only to leave my senses. I've been obsessing and inactive and ignoring the call of the pencil for the call of the quill.
And I've finally tasted liquor.
To say it all and say nothing. To rehearse and reiterate and regurgitate on subjects I have little care for. But worse is the path of a student who has greater mastery than his scholars are willing to impart.
So I abandon one burden and for another. My task to take a season and a half; my task to acquire my desired task, for I have not the bullion I need to proceed.
So my task is more monotonous than previous, but the goal is finally worth struggling towards.
And of this I shall make an account, and hold myself accountable. For If I am not beholden to myself then I am to abandon my dreams.

Alcohol is definitely an acquired taste, but once you find the beers/mixed drinks that you like it becomes easier to drink/try/experiment with other bears/liquors/whatnots.
Also I suggest negro modello (mexican beer) because it is delicious.

Beer is the most accessible and tastiest alcohol, easy.
I seem to go for the hoppier beers as it turns out...IPAs for instance. Arrogant Bastard is tasty as well.
#9 is where I've been headed lately though, love it so much.

I'm sure the really strong ones I wouldn't touch normally but some I can totally get down with.
