Success! I was one of the lucky ones who got picked in the lottery.. I'm unsure how many were made.. but looking from this box of them that the artist had:

I'm guessing about 50-100 of them.

I really like the design of this guy.. I will keep my eye out for future releases.. here's hoping a clear with GID fill..

I'm not sure if miniatures gaming would fit in here or in some other thread, but this one needs the lovin' anyway.

Finally got my hands on Mega Armodax last night in an ebay auction. As far as I know these guys were only given out in the very first sanctioned tournaments, so he's super rare now; usually goes for 30-40 on its own. I got him in a lot with a bunch of other figures for 45.

The game is Monsterpocalypse, for the record.

Hey, I know that game! I know it because some jerk on Talking Time claims to have invented it. Tim Burton is making a terrible movie out of it, too.

I don't think Matt Wilson is an active Talking Time member, but who knows?

As for the movie, I doubt it. The only info is that Dreamworks Pictures acquired the motion picture rights to Monsterpocalypse and Robopocalypse and that Burton showed interest as being a "creative catalyst". Chances are good the movie is totally unrelated and Dreamworks is just covering their legal bases.

No, no, I mean he claims they stole his idea. He actually does sell it, and they definitely resemble each other. I haven't played either game, so I'm not certain how similar they are.

That is pretty badass. The different laser blasts attach to the gun arm?

Yeah by the looks of things they just plug in.
There's so much stuff I want lately, but I just don't have the room for it.
I've got 4 more Mongolions which are my latest toy crack. Thankfully their releases are few & far between.
