Yes all governments have arseholes in them, not all governments invade other countries under the basis that "Our government is so much better then theirs they should behave like us"
When a government does that they better make dam sure there own track record is fucking spotless. And you know... isn't commiting
war crimes.
[EDIT]
Suprisingly unrelated to what we we're just talking about, that data taken from wiki leaks about deaths in iraq and correlated onto google maps.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/datablo ... deaths-map.... fuck man....
The racist one.

America doesn't recognise basic human rights outside of it's boarders. That's pretty horrific for the supposed leader of the free world.

While I am all for a bit of time travel.. to me it just looks like an old woman scratching her head. I don't think she's holding anything at all.. Her fingers move. Also old people do talk to themselves.. She might not even be talking.. she might just be muttering something to herself trying to remember something..
My favourite part of that video was the mention of an EAR TRUMPET. I will be a crazy old guy with an ear trumpet. Fuck technology.

We may be an evil country but we have some awesome people. People like Anderson Cooper.
Now he's a badass.
Tell me a story baby.I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

That article has one of the greatest metaphors I've ever read:
The strain on his face as he tries to to accomplish all this reminds me of one of Asimov's robots trying to resolve a conflict of the Three Laws.

Did anyone know he was a Vanderbilt? I didn't. It's not that important but it's like being a Rockefeller.
It's simple as that, it's simple as that, it's simple as that for your stupid ass.

He seems like a good guy, and very professional about how he conducts his interviews. I hope he gets better ratings than Glenn Beck.
Also, I suspect that "I appreciate your time, thankyou." Is Anderson Cooper's code for "I think you're silly, go away."

Anderson Cooper is probably the only person in actual journalism that I respect. Everyone else is idiotic.

Unrelated again
Catholic group gets art pulled from the Smithsonian for being anti christianBlah blah blah, christians have too much power yadda yadda.
What I love about this story is the actual art piece
Called fire in a mans belly and intended to represent the suffering of aids victims, it's a video showing a crucifix with Jesus Christ covered in ants... or if you will an
anty Christ.
I wasn't aware basing art on puns could get you into the Smithsonian.
I fucking
love it.
