Minimal Effect

Hello everyone,

As it says in my signature, I am the drummer for a band from Ottawa called Minimal Effect. We recently came out with a youtube channel and we're trying to spread our music around the internet. I've been debating posting this for a while now, but I didn't want people to think that I was just here to plug my own crap. :(

We're looking for feedback, and simply trying to get our sound out there. Please feel free to comment and to be brutally honest.

If anyone likes our music enough, we are taking album pre-orders while the artwork is being finished by an artist that I suspect many here might know of... :wink: (hint; it's not Sam Logan)

Um, no actually. Evan Dahm. I figured people here might be familiar with his work.

What kind of equipment did you guys use to record?


I have no idea what it was, but it was a singular device our friend brought over. He uses it for sampling, since he makes dope electronica music.

Argh! Unfortunately, I'm stuck in another city because of school. We don't have any upcoming shows, but we're considering doing some open jam/open stage things just to get our sound out when I come back for March Break.
