I think the difference is that they have all the appropriate legal releases, etc. Ie, there is almost no difference, and this is bullshit.

At the most, this is just a case of using a video of someone without their permission, which I'm fairly certain is not a felony, and certainly doesn't warrant 20 years in prison.

The only action that should have come from this dispute is the possible action of taking the video down from youtube. Not a court case. Leave that for actual crimes.

Can honestly say that if I were the parent of one of those kids I'd put him under some serious legal pressure. I don't need that kind of nonsense flying in the face of my kid and honestly he could have done anything without including the children at all.

All said, I wouldn't ruin the kids life over it. Hopefully he doesn't get stuck with the 20 year sentence (which I'm only going to assume is the maximum, or only, penalty for the charge). It does fall under other laws pretty easily though, bad move on his end.

Well, I guess it's sexual harassment of children which falls neatly under child exploitation laws. I think the child pornography charges are a bit of a leap.
