Hmm, oh read it wrong. It's a child abuse charge. It sounds odd but I imagine the laws concerning "Youtube videos depicting children in a compromising situation."

The issue is the relation between the children to the produced material. Anyone watching that video initially might assume the children were in the same room and hell, if they recognize the kid would assume the parents were idiots.

yea i work for the humor magazine on my college campus and we go to some pretty weird places (orphanage going out of business sale) and put in some *really* dirty humor, jokes about sex, rape, but we know better than to get into that area no matter what. like we just did a coming of age/parenting issue and one of the articles would have involved putting the heads of babies photoshopped onto supermodel bodies. the editors flat out reused, cause there are people bound to be idiotic an interpret it the wrong way. its one of the areas of humor you either stay away from or walk very carefully sticking to stock jokes.

I don't think he joked about having sex with kids. Nor did he make sex jokes in the same room as kids or to their faces. He just took video of himself saying dirty jokes, and cut in footage of a kids' classroom as reaction shots. It is effectively the same thing as if you took any R-rated standup comedy act and spliced in footage of elementary school kids between each joke. The only legitimate crime he could have possibly committed is using video of the kids without their permission.

I think the issue is he had no permission to use the footage. It wasn't just stock video either, it was people in his own community.

but cairo started because of tunisia, and tunisia stared cause of something over wikileaks. bahrain is the place to look next along with jordan, yemen, and *possibly* iran

Cairo only won because the military were for the people. There are reports that Mubarak was ordering tanks to roll in through the crowds during the protests and the tank operators ignored him. It could have very easily gone very bad though.

I don't think things will go as well in a lot of other countries.
