Old Rod and Good Rod are gone. You get the Super Rod when you beat the game. Yes, you can only fish in endgame. Yes, it's weird.

Fishing is less necessary because you can run through the shallow water to fight water pokemon now.

I picked up my heart gold nutzlock challenge game again. Of course, now that black and white are out, I don't really want to release the pokemon that faint (I throw them into the graveyard... BOX 18) and I don't want to restart after 20 hours in... I kind of screwed up against Jasmine and I have to grind up all the random pokemon I didn't use but caught on the way through now. It's weird. my team now is silly, but it is now.

I am torn between evolving Eevee into Umbreon or Flareon. Flareon would be useful for beating Jasmine and Pyrce, but Umbreon covers my biggest weakness of my team, psychic. DECISIONS

lol okay. Besides, it doesn't really matter anymore, since I somehow magically got a ditto on the nutzlock, I can have all the eevee's I want lol. Breeding is really easy apparently, didn't know this lol.

Are you allowed to breed for a Nuzlocke? Seems like infinite Pokemon would be breaking the point of the rules.

Hmm... that's true. I'll probably throw the new Eevee into the graveyard box when it hatches. I just wanted a second one for later.

Wherever it hatches counts as the capture for that area, so just run around in a city where there's no grass. On the summary page it says "Met in...", and as long as none of those are the same, you're golden.

It hatched in Goldenrod, however, that's where I got the original Eevee... darn it. Guess, I could go get another egg and run back to Cherrygrove City or something...


On a side note, Serebii.net lied to me about the times for when Eevee turns into Umbreon and I ended up getting an Espeon.
