Oh, right. Don't forget about those status clearing items. They're kind of awesome.

Poison never does damage by the way. It makes monsters weaker and makes them unable to be healed. By weaker I mean they take more and deal less damage.

It's simple as that, it's simple as that, it's simple as that for your stupid ass.

It would have been nice if the phone guy had mentioned he was going to disconnect the line to work on it, one minute from the Jelly King.
2 tokens! 2 tokens and I can get the Sealed Sword to go with the Antigua.

We felt so bad for you, Kelso. We just looked at the disconnected icon above your head and wept. Fortunately, one of the guys went solo and then reformed the party. Then we got our asses handed to us.

So how 'bout that patch, guys?

The following changes were made to the game in the release on May 17th:

Haven
* The new Advanced Training Hall can be found on the west side of the Haven Town Square!
* The new Auction House can be found just north of the fountain in the Haven Town Square!

Boss Tokens
* Bosses now drop a single, giant boss token that distributes boss tokens based on participation in the boss dungeon. The more levels you complete of each boss dungeon (in that run) the more boss tokens you have the chance to earn. The only way to guarantee a chance at the maximum number of tokens is to start a boss dungeon from the first level of that boss dungeon (from the terminal).

Levels
* Clockwork Terminals are now free to join. There is no entry fee like other levels. Their minerals have been removed.
* Fixed a minor bug in Royal Jelly Court where some monsters weren't spawning.
* You should no longer get stuck between the door and exit elevator in Spiral Court 2.

Shops
* You will not be able to purchase 2+ star items from a terminal vendor if you have not completed an entire floor before reaching the terminal. Never buy a 'Basil port' from another player unless you're in the market for 1* items!

Crafting
* Using a bound items in alchemy will result in the finished product being bound as well. For example, crafting a 4* item that requires a item of heat level 5 will result in an item that is bound to the crafter.
* Crafting energy costs have increased.
* Alchemy machines have new art.

Items
* Items now display their star value and number of unique variants on the item pill. Handy!

Recipes
* Recipe item costs have been reduced.

Bugfixes
* Fixed an issue where excessive upstream bandwidth usage would cause persistent lag.
* Fixed an issue where you would sometimes join a party in a deeper tier than was specified
* Fixed an issue where you would sometimes join a party behind a closed door and were unable to proceed
* Fixed an issue where you would be charged double energy when proceeding from a subtown

The increase in Energy needed to craft is bullshit. They've doubled it for 3, 4, and 5 star items. If that isn't a giant "fuck you, buy CE", I don't know what is.

Also, making it so it's impossible to craft a 5 star item that isn't bound is going to piss off the merchant crafters. But an auction house sounds nice.
Boss tokens, meh.
Cheaper recipes I can go with.
Higher crafting energy is ridiculous though. 200 for 4 star was high enough already.
I just want to know if this will increase or decrease the cost of CE in crowns.
Oh, who am I kidding. It's like gas, the price will never decrease.

Oh man, the official forums are burning. Whatever Three Rings was thinking with this update, they really screwed the pooch. Can't wait to see where the shitstorm goes from here.

A new blue Rose Regalia set colour. Limited time only!

Tekkactus wrote:doubled it for 3, 4, and 5 star items

Geez, I missed this bit about the actual price the first time I read it. I've been looking forward to getting some 5 star gear, but I'm not paying 800 CE per item. That's the equivalent of like $3.

I'm definitely not going to be crafting anything in the next week or so, just in case. Judging by how empty the Arcade was when I went in at lunchtime, I'd be really surprised if OOO doesn't acknowledge their fuck-up here.

Haha. Equipment from the token trader is also bound now. You'll have to get your Antigua variants the honest way now folks! Also, trinkets are now even more useless.

Doing the math, it's still bad, but not that bad. 5 star recipes are down from 45,000 to 25,000 crowns. If I take that extra 20,000, I can buy about 400 energy, which is what they jacked the crafting cost up by. Still not keen on it though.
