Okay, I really need to get along with the main storyline just find the third word of Unrelenting Force. (I assume it's part of the storyline. Although to be honest, after talking to the Greybeards at Hrothgar, I forget which quest is the main one now. Maybe I'll just find the cave for this green claw puzzle and see what I get there.)

Edit: Apparently it's part of the horn quest. Well I know what I'm doing tomorrow.

I giggled all the way through that clip, I also realised I don't really shout unless its a dragon or when I get cornered and freak out.

I'm up wandering around windhelm and I did this dungeon which had these swinging blades at the entrance of the room. It had this tough zombie in there who had a shout which blew my weapons out of my hand. I died a few times.. But i discovered that if you close the door the blades start swinging again. So I thought A-HA! So I launched an arrow at his coffin which woke him up and he started running towards me. SLICED AND DICED. Take that zombie.

man I use my shouts all the time, mainly my detect life one. It's awesome in those drugar places since it cause it shows wich ones are going to get up before they do, so you can sneak up to them and do your 15x damage dagger hit to fuck them up before they even get up.

I still haven't managed to find a detect life spell yet. From the loading screen hints, I had assumed Drugars could only be detected with a detect dead spell. Does the shout combine the two spells?

Detect life sounds cool, but I think would ruin the experience of dungeon diving. Would ruin the surprise anyway. I crouch the whole time and usually see them before they see me. And when you take one guy out all others in the vicinity come running so you find out how many there are.
The magelight spell (and that other one that makes a ball of light that follows you) is handy.. Well, once rooms are cleared anyway. Particularly in the rataways.

yeah the detect life spell is handy cause it marks friendly people as blue and enemies as red so you can tell fi that guy on the path infront of you is goingt o murder you. The detect life shout marks everyone as red it has a lot longer range of detecting things but it marks everything as red regardless and picks up anything that moves dead or alive.

I'm built so that if I don't get the surprise attack in I pretty much die. So it's ended up being kind of a nessecity to me now.
... Except now I'm a werewolf, so that's turned into a 'OH FUCK I'M GONNA DIE I'M GONNA.... oh wait' then I turn into a werewolf and eat everyone.

Ooo a werewolf. Do you turn into a wolf or a half human wolf thing?
Yeah i'm built for stealth too. I wish I could take back those points I spent in the one handed ability. My armour is light and aids my abilities rather than protecting me..
I'm a pro at the bow, so if I notice that after taking that one guy out and it reveals more than I can take down before they reach me (can't wait until I unlock quick draw), I jump up and leg the fuck out of there. I <3 sprint. Unless they spot you they only move to the spot where you were. I've taken out many tough opponents this way. Also I save often. So if I die its not a big issue.

half wolf half man monster.

Basically it is mapped to your shout/power button, you hit it and you transform. Camera locks into third person and you can't use any weapons or anything.
You have your melee attacks wich hit like fucking freight trains, You're focus attacks come in two flavors. One is a combo attack that almost kills pretty much anyone, the other is a single hit that sends em flying through the air. You're sprint is about as fast as a horse and barley uses any stamina too.
While your transformed your shout/power button is a howl that fears everyone around you.

It has a limited time that you're transformed but you can extend it by eating what you kill. You can't access your menu at all, or talk to anyone or turn back other then waiting. Also everyone wants to kill you and people with silver weapons fuck you up.

Also you wake up naked (Your items are still in your inventory) and you can't gain rested sleeping bonus anymore.

Oh cool. Werewolf sounds great. Would be handy agaist those tougher opponents.

Rested sleep bonus? Whats that? I don't think I've slept yet.. I've waited many times, but this adventurer needs no sleep. Too many dungeons to loot.
Although that might explain why people keep telling me 'You look like you need some rest'.

haha yeah I've slept like twice in the game.

Also got a bow of paralysis. fucking hilarious when you land a paralysis they just lock up and fall over. Was fighting a bear on a cliff edge got a paralysis hit on him and watched him tumble down the cliff to his death, shot a drugar with it and watched it fall face first off a ledge. Never makes me not laugh.

When you sleep in beds you own you get rested which increases xp gained I'm pretty sure.

And yeah being a werewolf is fucking awesome.

As for shouts, I found the second word of fire shout so I've used that like every goddamn battle. It's amazing.
Tell me a story baby.
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

That means you've picked up a disease that's lowering your stats. You can see what diseases you have in the magic menu under active effects. Just activate the shrine at any temple to remove a disease, including werewolvish I believe. I'm not sure if the final stage of vampirism can be cured if you wait too long, and it sounds like the drawbacks are pretty bad for socializing. I've been carrying around a cure disease potion just in case.

I've got the full Unrelenting Force now, and it's prime. In the process, I picked up an intangibility shout I haven't tried yet. And the Greybeards marked another on my map I should check out.

Must have been from that floosy at that farm...

Also I'm torn between the empire and the stormcloaks.. Empire are okay, bit snobbish and they ban Talos.. and Stormcloaks are great but they're a bunch of racist bastards..
Got a lot of quests pointing to Solitude.. But going to check out Winterhold for some magic and that boat in the top right corner of the map.. An abandoned ship equals treasure.
