So my stupid fat old piece of shit dog decided to eat an entire pound of trail mix tonight, literally enough that he was visibly bloated by the time he had finished. Trail mix, by the way, which had both raisins and chocolate in it.

So, I'm of mixed feelings. One, I'd be pretty bummed if he died because he's my dog and all that, but on the other, holy shit you moron why would you eat twice your stomach capacity worth of poison for no reason you fucking idiot GOD DAMN.

My friend bought me a papercraft pin hole camera yesterday, which is awesome because its a PAPER CAMERA, but its weird because we don't do gifts.. Her excuse was 'when I saw it I thought of you and had to get it... and thanks for being an awesome friend' (this is the female half of my best mates that just broke up).. So I feel a bit odd now.. but yeah... ANYWAY, PAPER CAMERA. It was a pretty fun and challenging build. The instructions weren't the best english, and the pictures were somewhat a puzzle. It took me a couple hours to finish.
However whilst building I discovered it has a mechanism to wind the film on, but not to wind it back.. Which means I have to get into a dark room and manually rewind it, or just cut it off at the canister and put it into the film can... and then I thought.. Hang on.. where am I going to get film from.. You used to be able to get it almost everywhere. I'm going to have to go out of my way to a proper photo shop.
Anyway here's what it looks like:

Strangely enough, I usually buy film at Dollarama when I need it just because it's cheap and plentiful, so check your local dollar store. Pharmacies usually still carry it too.

Man, I suck at having friends. See, all my buddies bought SWTOR together because they like MMOs. It's what they do. We spent the better part of the last decade not hanging out because they had a raid that night or whatever the fuck. Now me, I'm not big on paying 60 bucks for a game, paying another 15 to play it, and then probably getting bored after a week because there's only so many things I can whack with a lightsaber. So I wanna do something tonight, but they're all having a LAN party. Now, I know I'd just be the whiny bitch if I was like "why don't you want to include me bawww" because I chose to exclude myself willingly. But now I have no plans. Fuck.

I hate New Years.. I'm always torn between circles. Wish I could merge my circles in some awesome venn diagram.. but this yeah its just another house party.. I will get drunk.. and probably make a 2hour drunk phone call to a female friend in melbourne.. also I'll probably end up sleeping in my car.. as my friend has a new boyfriend and the couch in her room probably wont be available to sleep on if you catch my drift.. unless the sleeping on the couch downstairs is fine.. I hate living so far out west.. makes life difficult.

I'm super excited for New Years! It's my favorite holiday! I'm having people over again this year, but only a handful of people are coming, I believe. They're all good friends, though, so it'll be good. There's an Adventure Time marathon starting at 1 that goes all night, so win right there. It would be nice to have a lady friend around this time of year, but regular friends are plenty good on their own!

Are we doing a 2011 in retrospect thread this year? I think we should

Sounds good. This will likely be my last post of the year, since tonight involves a massive house party, live music, jamming, costumes, champagne and other such frivolities.
