Picked up Kid Icarus the other day. It's pretty frantic. It plays similar to that of Metroid Prime Hunters except its 3rd person and one of the parts of every stage is played on rails. At the moment I'm playing with the stylus to aim..unfortunately the circle pad pro doesn't allow the usual 3rd person shooter controls.. just helps out lefties.. so playing with the stylus cramps my hand up a bit.
It does come with this stand though.. so maybe that might help things a little..... :|

As for the game itself, its pretty good. A lot of things to collect like weapons and powers.. then there's the whole heart exchange system thing which I don't completely get yet. and the banter between Pit and Palutena (and other characters) is pretty entertaining.. I've noticed a few times they refer back to the original game on the NES which is really great. HOWEVER.. all this banter happens during the game as your trying to concentrate on dishing and avoiding attacks, which is a bit distracting.. but it adds a great atmosphere while playing.. I think it would be a bit bland without it..
I like it. I'll probably be playing a lot of it over the next few weeks and so far would recommend it.

I'm getting a case for my 3ds. It's the catalyst, from CM4 . I got one of them for my DSiXL and loved the feel. I'm hoping it feels just as good as the last one.

Just finished chapter 9? of Kid Icarus Uprising.. I'm really liking this game. My weapon of choice at the moment is the Angel Bow. It seems to pack a decent punch and has a heart bonus which is handy. The game took a really nice twist too. But I've been playing for an hour now and man my hands are crampy. Still haven't tried the stand yet though.. The difficulty slider is really tough. I tried gambling some hearts and taking it to 4.. I died. 3.5 is as hard as I can go at the moment.. While some enemies are easy there or some that at the higher difficult really hurt. Also the banter during play has really grown on me. I wish all games had this now.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a Gamestop exclusive.

I just happened to receive a Gamestop giftcard last Christmas.

So I am now the owner of a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles.

Awesome! I'll pretty much buy any Metroid style game. This should hold me over nicely until Shadow Complex 2 is released.

So Skullgirls is out today(PS3)/tomorrow(360). Has anyone played it yet? My $15 is pretty much already committed, I just need to buy a points card.

My PS3 is at my house and I am at school, so I've gotta wait until Friday to go home and get it. The minute I do, though, hooooo boy look out.
I'm not really working on anything at the moment, but here's a link to my tumblr anyway.

I was planning to get the 360 version since that's the system I have a stick for, but now that I think about it, the 360 version probably requires a Live account for on-line play doesn't it? Maybe I'd be better off with the PS3 version. My stick has that weird MK button layout, so it would probably not make for much of a control boost anyway.

Steam have an indie adventure bundle on sale for $9.99. It contains Jolly Rover, Machinarium a couple others and The Tiny Bang Story, which I wanted to play ever since playing the demo.

The first awesome thing was that it continued where the demo left off, so I didn't have to redo what I had already done.. then everything is awesome then things get bad. Colour puzzles. I'M MOTHER FUCKING COLOUR BLIND. FUCK YOU GRANDPA AND YOUR FUCKED GENES.
