Thanks for the birthday wishes! It was really great. My friends threw a party for me on Friday and my parents came up on Saturday for dinner. They also brought me some suitcases so I can start packing. I'm done for the semester in a week and a half... It's weird finishing my first year of college...

Basically the gas ran out about a month ago and both of us were too shy about it to formally address it until today. The break-up was quick, amicable, and punctuated with making plans to hang out platonically this weekend. Gonna miss grabbing her butt, but beyond that, meh!

I'm sorry to hear it, Tekk, but I'm glad it wasn't a rough break-up!

I'm back home now. I have over four full months before I return to Boston. My summer vacation is the length of a full semester! This will be the longest I've ever gone without attending classes since before I was in preschool. It's mostly just weird to think about that...

I'll definitely keep myself busy, though. My boss has already rehired me at the cafe and I start again next week working pretty much full time because another full time employee quit. I have plans to go back up to Boston a couple times for concerts and stuff, hopefully I'll go to Montreal once or twice, and I have a shit-ton of music stuff to work on. I think I'm just going to have a hard time motivating myself to be productive when it's so easy to just sit around and watch Netflix...
