I've somehow been tricked into buying yu-gi-oh cards again. (I've haven't played the damn game since 5th grade...) Buts its okay. Apparently I pulled a rare card that actually is worth 25 something dollars and will only go up in price. And yes that means I that I actually profited today.

I don't get it. I am incredibly confused.

So work is relatively quiet today (currently doing BBQ catering, among other things), so I'm chatting it up with my new female coworker. At one point, she drops it on me that she thinks I would like her cousin, since I remind her of her cousin in some respects in terms of interest, mannerisms, and speech. I immediately tense up and hesitate, because I either really like people who are similar to me, or I want to have them die horrendously if they're too similar to me. In any case, she continues to profess that I would get along with her cousin. She says things like "Aw, I think you two would get along really well!" or "She's 21, so she's older than me" and "she's really into comic books and star trek and stuff".

I think I might be the first male to actively resist several unprovoked attempts at being hooked up with some stranger. I just thought some of you might find this odd and slightly amusing.
