The Daily Events and Anecdotes Thread

Everyone likes to talk about themselves! Do it here so I don't have to read it. Ha ha! Just kidding. I'm actually illiterate.

Since she's a Knight, I'm expecting her to have cooked dragon hearts and yorkshire pudding.

Did you make a sauce yet, cause I'd be well impressed if you're doing the sauces too cause that shit gets hard.
For my money a white sauce is one of the hardest 'common' things you can cook.
The racist one.

Fiiiiirefox Updaaaaate! What have you done to my new tab window!

Oh.. I can just turn it off. Still, why would you think I wanted such a thing? Were people having too much trouble remembering that the bookmark list, drop down address bar, and history tab exist?

You've forgotten one of the cardinal rules: most people are complete idiots.

Case in point, millions of people go wild for this, yet almost no one will give this the time of day.

That, and the fact that we live in a society that pays the cast of Jersey Shore more to present at a school instead of a Nobel laureate speaks volumes.

CHrriiistttt. Has nothing to do with people being idiots. This has been a type of feature that many people have used and enjoyed over the years from Firefox extensions and Safari even uses it, makes sense they'd use it. Also your music is difficult and not simple catchy shit, surprise surprise. You're not more intelligent for this music.

It's simple as that, it's simple as that, it's simple as that for your stupid ass.

To be fair, that's not "my music"; It's music from a far away land and it's still catchy, despite being complicated. And usually, the more complex something is, the higher the necessary skill/mastery needed.

It's not that it's complicated, it's that it's difficult. Lacks any mass appeal. People spend a lot of time making sure Justin Bieber's next single is catchy and charts. Those people are much better at their jobs than people give them credit for. Bieber's a face, just like the next major pop star will be. Maybe your guys will stick around longer and have a more interesting following (I imagine they have that last part nailed down), but all the same.

People aren't idiots, they just like things.

It's simple as that, it's simple as that, it's simple as that for your stupid ass.

The only idiot here is the douche at Firefox HQ who doesn't make the themes backwards compatible.
