Emerald City Comic-con

No time for a "Q and A" this week, I'm afraid! I'm too busy getting everything ready for this weekend's Emerald City show in Seattle! Attendees can find me at the giant Topatoco booth, armed with sketching supplies, shirts, books, buttons, and a healthy stack of the new "Bat Fuzzy" prints. Come visit!

(Meanwhile, the ebay auction for the original "Bat Fuzzy" art is still thundering along. Check it out if you are interested!)

And finally, I'll also be attending the live Tweet Me Harder event on Friday night. Will you? Will you?

"Bat Fuzzy" Original Art

As promised, I'll be putting the original "Bat Fuzzy" artwork up on ebay later this afternoon. I'll update this newspost with a link to the auction as soon as it goes live!

EDIT: The auction is up and running!!

And since everyone seemed to have so much fun "casting" Sam and Fuzzy characters as their favourite superheroes, I thought I'd include a special bonus for the auction winner -- an original custom sketch of a Sam and Fuzzy character of their choice, dressed in the costume of the hero (or villain) of their choice. Fun, right? (Right!)

Meanwhile, don't forget... I will be at Emerald City in Seattle this weekend, hanging out at the Topatoco booth with a truly awesome number of talented webcomicers. Please come by to say hello, nab a original sketch, and to get first crack at the bat prints!

Emerald City Comicon - Seattle, March 13 & 14

Emerald City -- one of my absolute favourite conventions -- kicks off my 2010 con season this weekend! It's a great show for anyone who loves comics... online or offline. The number of talented creators in attendance would be ridiculously impressive even at a convention of double the size.

I will be at the Topatoco booth, a massive island of webcartoonists that is basically going to be impossible to miss. (But here's a map, just in case!) As usual, I'll be doing plenty of sketches and peddling an assortment of tshirts, books, buttons, and artwork.

I'll also be debuting a brand new limited print! I've wanted to do this one for ages, but it took a few tries before I got it "just right". That said, I'm so happy with the final result, I'm willing to violate my front page with its filthy, filthy colour.

Emerald City attendees will have first crack at these, but I promise I will put any prints that are leftover after the show up for sale online. And just like the Megaman print, I'll also be auctioning the original (gigantic) black and white artwork... probably later this week!
